The Carroll County Solid Waste Authority (CCSW) has executed an exclusive 5yr. hauling agreement with CARDS Holdings, LLC (CARDS). Terms of the deal were not discussed. CCSW was established in December of 1981 with solid waste management activities beginning in the early 1990’s after petitioning the Arkansas Secretary of State. CCSW generates roughly 30,000 tons of waste annually, previously operated by three trucks and six trailers.
“We are extremely proud to become the exclusive CCSW hauler for transfer station waste, says Governmental Affairs Director Jason Fitzgerald. We feel this will bring a mutually beneficial relationship and welcome other opportunities this agreement will place in front of us.”
CARDS offered several options for transporting solid waste from the Carroll County Solid Waste Transfer Station in Berryville, AR. CARDS history of solid waste transport for large waste companies made this an easy selection for the waste district.
“Moving waste internally and for 3rd party customers is a important aspect to business, says COO Kurt Bodendorfer. We feel we are not only the safest long haul waste provider but that our service is dependent and reliable. Municipalities need a vendor they can trust to provide the services they require which why this is a perfect match.”
CARDS has acquired the legacy CCSW equipment until their new trucks and trailers arrive.
