CARDS Recycling (CARDS) announced the signing of yet another purchase agreement on June 26, 2023, to acquire the assets of County Recycling Services, LLC (CRS). Deal terms were not disclosed. This is CARDS’ 3rd acquisition in the Dallas metro market and bolt-on to its Anna, TX operation. Reed Sanitation was purchased in 2022 and Barnes Waste Disposal closed in May of 2023. This strategic purchase looks to further densify CARDS’ subscription residential and commercial presence.

CRS is a solid waste collection company located in Royse City, TX which services both Rockwall and Hunt counties. Primary service offerings include subscription residential, commercial, bulky waste and temporary roll off collection.

“We are excited about this acquisition,” said Dan Christensen CEO of CARDS Recycling. “We’ve had our eyes on this opportunity for a while, we know we are tucking in a well-run company that provides immense value. Not only will we be able to grow our existing services and increase density, but we look forward to the permanent and recurring revenue stream that this brings. We’ve developed a significant appreciation for the CRS team given their strong commitment to delivering excellent service to their customers.”

This marks CARDS’ 7th acquisition in 2023. With a little less than half the year left, CARDS forecasts closing 7-10 additional transactions finishing the year between 15-20 total deals in 2023.

“The growth has been impressive to witness”, says Brandon Wysoglad, CFO for CARDS. “As a former finance executive and change management specialist, I’m so excited to be a part of the future transformational goals we are on the path to achieve.”

Brandon joined the CARDS team in April of 2023 from National Express LLC, where he most recently served as CFO of the North American subsidiary of Mobico Group, one of the premier transportation firms in the United Kingdom.
